Looking back now that it has ended:
I also especially enjoyed the presentation ‘Knowing the Client’s Needs: Teaching Financial Experts’ delivered by Gabriella Hirthe of ISD GmbH. Anyone who has taught financial experts will have noticed that Gabriella knew exactly what she was talking about when she described the peculiarities involved in teaching this particular client group.
Can I brag for a second? Gabriella recently earned her CLTC-C certificate through SKYLIGHT. During her CLTC-C training at Bosch, I served as her blended learning trainer. Her blended learning scenario in Moodle was exceptionally well-designed, so it was particularly rewarding for me to see that her F2F presentation skills were equally as engaging!
There are so many positive aspects to report on, so many engaging presentations like the one by Matthias Meier, publisher of the great technical English learning magazine ‘Engine’, or the unforgettable presentation on Russian intercultural issues delivered by Dr. Elena Denisova-Schmidt of the University of St. Gallen, or the talk on intercultural competencies by Anne Sass. The list goes on and on. As I have mentioned many times before, Sprachen und Beruf is a great venue for anyone involved in Business and Languages.
