February began with a four-day trip to New York City with three HR specialists. While it was not all work and no play – none of us were really sure if jetlag had had a chance to set in or not. New York was wonderful as always -  even if the trip was too rushed. This was the first time my HR associates had ever been to the city. It is always so enjoyable to be there with first-times-such a spark of energy! 

 

Back in Germany, I decided to move the us-english-moodles to a new server. We have made several changes to the U.S. English Services site.

The map feature, which basically shows points in the world where I have gained some intercultural skills, has been changed form a google maps frame to a more simplified flash frame.

The news section has been converted to a blog so that it may be more interactive. The tone of voice in the news section was gradually and naturally transforming to a more informal blog-like tone anyway so we decided to simply convert it into a blog. I have been grtadually catching up with the present and will be live blogging as soon as I catch up.

I have decide to integrate the inter-cult.net  website into the U.S. English Services website. I will still try to keep the site clean despite all of the added content and new features. Please tell me what you think.
