We have been updating all of the U.S. English Services client Moodles to the latest stable version and switching providers. One of our providers decided to switch off access to Moodle databases for no apparent reason and without warning. This caused a little chaos. Luckily I have been diligent about making backups and had dependable emergency assistance to move all of the data bases to a more reliable site immediately. It is always exciting…Let me know what your experience has been with moodle hosting providers.

I have been continuing to develop the content for the two-day, CLTC-C workshop I will be delivering at Bosch in January. We have decided to open Moodle course room for the trainers so that they can experiment putting together a complete Blended Learning scenario. Hands-on practice is always the best teacher and I am excited to see what this group of experienced F2F professionals is going to come up with. We also decide to include Business Spotlight as part of the required blend. The trainers will be integrating print with F2F and various media via links on their own Moodle courses.
