- I spent two days at Bosch GmbH in Feuerbach, Germany, taking part in the workshop and second module of the CLTC-C program run by SKYLIGHT GmbH. This module was on the ‘scenario’ technique and executed by Stefan Gee, Gee Language Services. What an engaging workshop and what a fantastic group of top professional Bosch Business English trainers!
U.S. English Services is in charge of delivering the third module on blended learning. SKYLIGHT has already set up a moodle platform for the three modules so I hope to be able to present platform best practice before we all meet again F2F in January 2008. The third module will include a survey of blended learning history, tools and methodology. We will be giving participants hands on experience with the moodle collaborative learning platform and doing a live virtual classroom session.

The workshop is very brief and there is a lot of material to cover, but I am aiming to to give these professionals some insight into the tools available to make their teaching more effective. I hope they will be able to unleash their creativity in new ways and design a blended earner experience. I could tell this weekend that this is a select group of intelligent, highly motivated and highly creative trainers; this is truly a best-case scenario for me. I am very excited about working with such a great group.
