  • U.S. English Services will be attending the Online Educa Berlin, November 30th + December 1st. I  look forward to meeting our friends and partners at the conference and attending all the events I can squeeze in during these two short days.
If you would like to meet me there, please contact me in advance if possible.
This is going to be really exciting!

  • I was inspired by a simple little software program, Phase 6. The program was designed with the original intention of helping people learn vocabulary.  I see potential in extending the basic idea for numerous business-world applications. The software creators had similar thoughts and are launching a new version soon. I have met with the young inventor, Daniel Gorin and we have discussed trying to work together towards exploring the potentials.

  • U.S. English Services is in the midst of a full-blown blended learning roll out for business English and intercultural competencies at a German subsidiary of an international company. The implications of such a program are extensive in terms of change management. While this project is well underway, I am also planning three additional blended learning roll outs in the upcoming two months. Please forgive me if I fall behind with my news reports ;-)
Our enthusiasm for blended learning is contagious!
  • I am currently reading:  Mind your Manners,  Managing Business Cultures in Europe  by John Mole
